Hazards Open for 2009 Season

Hazards opened for the 2009 season and the first pizza was served. Don and Sandy, 10 year residents at St. Hazards, were the first official pizza customers.

Memorial Weekend was our busiest in two years, so a fun year is expected.
The full Hazards entertainment schedule starts in June.
We had computer problems with updates, but all is fixed and expect frequent ones now.

Spring clean-up continues

The pool and hot tub are ready to be filled again after the thorough cleaning.

All of the tropical grasses and plants around the resort have been trimmed back and have started growing again.

In just a few weeks the new greenery should be very visible. The palm trees will also be back soon from their winter greenhouse home in Cleveland.

Getting Ready for Summer 08

April 28, 2008

The big clean-up to get ready for the summer of 08 has begun at St. Hazards on Middle Bass Island. Right after the first Miller ferry arrived at Middle Bass for the first time this year on April 4th, the work was underway.
This is the 10 Year Anniversary of St. Hazards and for the first time there will be no absentee management of the resort. Previously the owner had outside help to run the resort with too many problems in the past. For the first time, the owner will be the full time manager this year to help improve service and improve maintenance standards. There were problems in the past and the goal is to eliminate them this year.
Old trailers, junk cars, broken equipment and more are all being hauled off the island. The pool has been drained and scrubbed clean. Everything is being power washed. Extra cleaning help is on the island. Progress has been made.
